Phoning supporters in Karachi on the weekend, he said he would be back between January 27th and January 30th.
The former president has talked about returning to Pakistan to lead a faction of the All Pakistan Muslim League, a political party that will field candidates in upcoming elections.
He said he believed he had the support of all ethnic groups in Pakistan.
But Pakistani prosecutors have arrest Musharraf if he arrives back in the country over alleged links to the 2007 assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Prosecutors have alleged he personally played a role in the murder.
The former president has blamed the attack on the Pakistani Taliban.
