Get the most productivity out of your weekend with today?s Fresh iPhone App, Wunderkit. It marries the standard productivity features like to-do lists with social media. It?s followed by the official app of LeDianian Tomlinson, filled with 16 workouts the NFL running back uses to get keep his speed and strength. Endless runner Blot leads the weekend?s game selections, bringing a great art style and challenging gameplay, along with Gorilla Gondola, a physics game that requires some different thinking from the standard fair.
Wunderkit is a task management app that combines to-do lists with social networking. You can keep track of everything you?re working on in the app, creating ?workspaces? for your projects, and contains a number of smaller apps that help to amp up your productivity along the way.
The coolest thing about Wunderkit is its collaborative features. You can invite your friends from social networks, like Facebook and Twitter, to join in on your projects, and you can comment on the task updates of your friends as well. It really adds an additional dimension (and a little motivation) to the traditional task organization app.
Workout like an NFL running back with LeDainian Tomlinson, an app filled with workouts used by the star player to prepare for games all season. The app contains 16 workouts, divided into four phases, and each is designed to help build speed, explosiveness and power over time.
Each exercise contains step-by-step instructions and videos of Tomlinson to help you get the moves right. There?s also a feature that lets you track your stats over time, so you can see your improvement and places you might need additional work as you write down your reps and weights. Finally, the app packs news streams about Tomlinson to keep you up to speed on how he?s performing on the field.
A beautiful art style and challenging gameplay set apart Blot from other members of the endless running genre. The controls are pretty simple: as the protagonist ink blot who glides across a lined paper world of obstacles and power-ups, you need to avoid crashing by rising and dropping on the screen. Touching the screen makes Blot rise, letting go makes him fall, just like in similar games such as Jetpack Joyride.
You?ll collect coins in Blot, as well as attempt to get as far as possible, in order to raise your score every time out you play through the game. There are also a mess of power-ups you can grab to make life easier (or harder) as you play. But the best reason to play Blot is that it?s tougher than many other members of the genre, and requires a deft touch to play well.
Arcade physics title Gorilla Gondola requires a different way of thinking than many other members of its genre. You play a gorilla riding on a cable car through this side-scroller, and you?re scored by how well you can snag bananas floating in the air while dodging obstacles like trees and cliff sides. To do that, you?ll need to jump up and slam back down on the car to get it bouncing in the right directions, which requires a different kind of thinking than most physics games.
Gorilla Gondola includes eight levels of obstacles and bananas to collect, and a hand-painted art style that complements the gameplay and soundtrack. It also has full Game Center support for leaderboards and achievements, so you can see how good you are compared to other Gorilla players around the world.

INDIANAPOLIS (Reuters) ? Pop superstar Madonna said it was a dream come true to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday and conceded she was feeling pressure at the idea of singing in front of the huge live television audience.
Last year's Super Bowl attracted 111 million U.S. viewers - the largest for a single TV broadcast in the United States.
"This is a Midwesterner girl's dream to be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show," said Madonna, who was born in Bay City, Michigan.
"In over 25 years of performing that I've done, I have never worked so hard or been so scrupulous or detail-oriented or freaked out as much as I have ... trying to make the most major show at this Super Bowl," she added.
Asked if she felt the pressure of the massive audience, Madonna, who has performed at stadiums around the world on her global tours, replied simply "Yes, I do."
Madonna, whose biggest global live TV performance was likely Live Aid in 1985, said she would sing three "old songs" and her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'" during the show.
The 53-year-old Material Girl said she would dedicate her performance to her father.
"I was raised in the Midwest, and he is the personification of Midwestern values, he gave me the work ethic that I have, so if I am a hardworking girl who never stops it's because of him.
"Also, I am sure of all the things I have ever done in my life this will be the thing he is most excited about," she said.
The halftime show has increasingly featured high-profile pop acts, a far cry from the first Super Bowl in 1967 when college marching bands entertained the crowd.
Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, U2, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, The Black Eyed Peas and Janet Jackson are among recent performers.
Jackson's appearance in 2004 was the most controversial as she made headlines worldwide with her infamous "wardrobe malfunction." Justin Timberlake, who was performing with Jackson, grabbed her costume and tugged at it, exposing her breast's nipple to millions of TV viewers.
Madonna said all efforts had been made to ensure there would not be a similar episode in her show.
"Great attention to detail has been paid to my wardrobe, there will be no wardrobe malfunction - I promise," she said.
Asked which quarterback she would choose if both called her for a date on Saturday night, the entertainer picked the New York Giants' Eli Manning over the New England Patriots' Tom Brady. Why Eli? Because of the New York connection, she said.
A question about Victor Cruz, the salsa-dancing wide receiver from the New York Giants, got her doing some salsa moves for reporters who packed the room. "He's inspired me," she said.

INDIANAPOLIS ? Pfizer Inc. is recalling 1 million packets of birth control pills due to a packaging error that could raise the risk of an accidental pregnancy by leaving women with an inadequate dose.
The problem affects 14 lots of Lo/Ovral-28 tablets and 14 lots of generic Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets. Both products are manufactured by Pfizer and marketed in the U.S. by Akrimax Rx Products under the Akrimax Pharmaceuticals brand.
Pfizer found that some packets of the drugs had too many active tablets, while others had too few. Oral birth control products use a series of 21 hormone tablets and 7 inactive sugar tablets to regulate the menstrual period while providing contraception.
The risk of an accidental pregnancy depends on how many doses a patient misses in the pill cycle, pharmacist Mike Parker said. Patients normally can miss a dose and then catch up the next day, but the risk rises if a woman goes more than a couple of days without the right dose.
Parker said birth control pills account for about 25 percent of the prescriptions filled at his store, Fred?s Neighborhood Pharmacy, in New Castle, Ind. But he doesn?t expect many worried calls from customers about this recall.
He said it focuses on an older pill that used to be popular but doesn?t sell as well anymore compared with newer versions that have fewer side effects.
?It?s not a No. 1 or No. 2 seller,? he said.
U.S. pharmacists filled 38.9 million birth control prescriptions in the first six months of last year, according to the most recent statistics from data firm IMS Health. A total of 78.6 million prescriptions were filled in 2010.
An IMS spokesman said the pills subject to the recall are not among the top 5 prescriptions filled.
A Pfizer spokeswoman said the problem was caused by both mechanical and visual inspection failures on the packaging line. She said the problem has been corrected.
Patients with the affected lot numbers should return them to the pharmacy.
The affected packets have expiration dates ranging between July 31, 2013, and March 31, 2014.
The drugs were distributed to warehouses, clinics and retail pharmacies throughout the U.S.

For those with few social advantages, college is a prime pathway to financial stability, but it also unexpectedly lowers their odds of ever marrying, according to a study by Cornell University sociologist Kelly Musick being published in the February issue of the Journal of Marriage and Family.
The findings suggest that social and cultural factors, not just income, are central to marriage decisions. Men and women from the least advantaged backgrounds who attend college appear to be caught between social worlds -- reluctant to "marry down" to partners with less education and unable to "marry up" to those from more privileged upbringings. Lower marriage chances appear to stem from men's and women's mismatched social origins and educational attainment -- a phenomenon Musick and co-authors refer to as "marriage market mismatch."
"College students are becoming more diverse in their social backgrounds, but they nonetheless remain a socio-economically select group," said Musick, associate professor of policy analysis and management in the College of Human Ecology. "It may be difficult for students from less privileged backgrounds to navigate social relationships on campus, and these difficulties may affect what students ultimately gain from the college experience."
Musick hoped the findings could raise awareness of potential social barriers faced by first-generation college students ? barriers that could be keeping students from participating fully in the academic and social opportunities colleges have to offer.
For the study, Musick and sociologists at the University of California-Los Angeles estimated the propensity of men's and women's college attendance based on family income, parental education and other indicators of social background and early academic achievement. They then grouped their subjects into social strata based on these propensity scores and compared marriage chances of college- and non-college-goers within each stratum. Estimates were based on a sample of about 3,200 Americans from the 1979 National Longitudinal Survey of Youth, followed from adolescence into adulthood.
They found that college attendance negatively affected marriage chances for the least advantaged individuals -- lessening men's and women's odds by 38 percent and 22 percent, respectively. By comparison, among those in the highest social stratum, men who attend college increase their marrying chances by 31 percent and women by 8 percent.
Musick said that past studies have shown "college is the great equalizer" in the labor market, dampening social class differences. But the same can't be said for the marriage market.
"This research demonstrates the importance of differentiating between social background and educational achievement," she said. "Educational achievement may go far in reducing income differences between men and women from different social backgrounds, but social and cultural distinctions may persist in social and family relationships."

TEHRAN?? Iran said on Monday it had manufactured laser-guided artillery shells that were capable of spotting and hitting moving targets with a high degree of precision, state-run television reported.

Iran does periodically unveil military advancements, but this latest report comes as tension between Iran and the West escalates over Iran's disputed nuclear program.
Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi hailed what he described as "intelligent munitions" as a new chapter in the country's weapons and military equipment.
"Besides America and Russia, there are only three other countries which have this technology," Vahidi was quoted as saying during the unveiling ceremony.
State television also showed footage of the shell, called Basir (insightful), being fired by an artillery piece. No more details were given in the report.?

Also Monday, Iran's top diplomat offered to extend the current visit of U.N. nuclear inspectors and expressed optimism their findings would help ease tensions despite international claims that Iran is trying to build nuclear weapons.
The comments by Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, reported by Iran's official news agency, underscored efforts to display cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency team and downplay the expectations of a confrontation atmosphere during the three-day visit that began Sunday.
The IAEA mission is the first to Iran since a report in November that suggested some of the Islamic Republic's alleged experiments ? cited in intelligence documents ? can have no other purpose than developing nuclear weapons. The current inspection team includes two senior weapons experts, hinting that Iran may be prepared to discuss specific points on the claims it seeks to develop warheads after three years of rebuffing U.N. calls for answers.
Salehi, attending an African summit in Ethiopia, repeated remarks that he was "optimistic about the results of the visit" without offering more details. He also told Turkish state television that the U.N. mission could be "extended if necessary," according to the official Islamic Republic News Agency.
The findings from the visit could greatly influence Western efforts to expand economic pressures on Iran over its uranium enrichment ? which Washington and allies fear could eventually produce weapons-grade material. Iran has declined to abandon its enrichment labs, but claims it seeks to fuel reactors only for energy and medical research.
Reuters and The Associated Press contributed to this report.
